How Do You Know If Your Tires Need to Be Replace?
It’s easy to know if your tires need to be replaced. Simply look for one of these telling signs:
- You can see the tire cord or fabric through the rubber
- Your tire has a bulge, puncture, cut, split or other unrepairable damage
- Your tire wear indicators say your tires have 2/32" or less of tread left
- The tire sidewall or tread is cracked, snagged or cut and shows the tire's fabric or cord
Still not sure? Complete the tire tread penny test and check for tire wear! You just need to place a penny upside down in between your tire’s treads and see if you can see the top of Lincoln’s head. If the answer is yes, then you need to schedule a Ram tire replacement at our Jeep service center.
